Gnomon’s The Art of Sketch Theatre Shows Off at Comic-Con

 

Sketch Theatre (http://www.sketchtheatre.com/?page_id=5745) is returning to San Diego Comic-Con for its second year due to overwhelming popular demand!  Sketch Theatre has inspired artists worldwide with amazing on-camera sketches by top artists time lapsed over mood-matching music and features contemporary art talents from various fields including traditional, comics, digital visual effects and entertainment.

The Gnomon School of Visual Effects (http://www.gnomonschool.com/), the leader in visual effects training for the entertainment industry, and Baby Tattoo (http://babytattoo.com/), one of the art industry’s most respected publishers, will be unveiling The Art of Sketch Theatre: Volume 1, a tabletop book showcasing the beautiful works of top artists working in the comics, films, games and tattoo industries.

The Art of Sketch Theatre: Volume 1 celebrates four years of bringing various industry leading artists together to inspire creativity in others. Sketch Theatre has hosted more than 120 artists worldwide as they create original pieces on camera. The videos, time lapsed and set to mood matching music, include talents from a variety of art backgrounds including traditional, comics, digital visual effects, entertainment and even tattooing. Regular video contributors include Ron English, Nat Jones (Dark Horse Comics’ “The Nail”), Christian Lorenz Scheurer (“The Fifth Element”), and Marc Gabbana (“War of the Worlds”).
